Presentation for English project

PRESENTATION

Hello guys. I'm Ingmar Scordo and I'm 16. Together with a French class my class enjoys a project to discover new things about World War I. The program has just started so at the moment I can't tell much about the War but I can tell a little of Gorizia.
I have been living in Gorizia since I was born. It's a town in northeastern Italy, in the autonomous region of Friuli Venezia Giulia. It is located at the foot of the Julian Alps, bordering Slovenja. Gorizia is also called Görz by the German and Gorica by the Slovenian because "gora" in Slovenian means hill referred to the hill when the castle was build.
Besides the castle there are other main sights like the church devoted to St. Ignatius of Loyola Palazzo Attems Petzenstein (museum of historical and artistic heritage)synagogue,  Palazzo Coronini Cronberg, including an art gallery with a lot of books and pictures, Palazzo Cobenzl, today seat of the archbishops....
Also we have two celebrities: the brothers Petrosyan. Giorgio currently holds the title of intercontinental middleweight champion WMC and Armen Petrosyanis who is an Armenian-Italian kickboxer who competes in the middleweight division.

  1. Now that you have been working on the project for some time, can you tell us something more? What have you learnt? What did your French partners write? What would you like to do now? Looking forward to a new post from you

  2. Well, with this project I learned some new things about the WW1 in Gorizia thanks to the trip to St. Michele and St. Martino del Carso and the tour to the Museum of Gorizia.
With the trip I found out new things about the guns used during the conflicts, the gases, the foxholes.
Instead with the tour to the museum the guide told us about all the mains points of the war.
I haven't read the texts of the French students yet.
What do you mean with the last question?
